What We Need

Oivan is looking for an accomplished AI leader with over 10 years of experience and a proven track record in MLOps (Machine Learning Operations) to join our team. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our AI strategy, driving innovation through the seamless integration of AI solutions into our businesses.

This position requires continuous travel to Saudi Arabia for a few months at a time or relocation for a fixed period.

It is better if the talent is already residing or lives to reside in Riyadh, KSA. The reason for this is due to the high security prerequisite for the client while developing the platform on-site at the customer’s premises.

What You’ll Do

Your responsibilities will revolve around Oivan’s AI strategy and to identify opportunities to leverage AI including the following:  

  • Execute Oivan’s AI strategy, aligning it with business goals and ensuring the effective integration of AI solutions. 
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for leveraging AI to enhance organizational processes and outcomes. 
  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive MLOps, ensuring the successful deployment and management of machine learning models in production together with Cloud and Infrastructure department. 
  • Drive the adoption of best practices for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment across the AI and development teams. 
  • Implement robust monitoring and logging systems to track the performance of deployed models. 
  • Foster collaboration between AI, development, and business teams to create synergies that drive innovation and enhance overall operational efficiency. 
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into AI solutions. 
  • Lead and slowly build a high-performing team of AI professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture. 
  • Provide guidance on technical and strategic aspects, ensuring the team’s continuous growth and development. 
  • Oversee the design and management of scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure for hosting machine learning models, leveraging cloud services and containerization. 
  • Ensure the alignment of AI infrastructure with organizational standards and policies. 
  • Establish and enforce policies for AI initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and data protection regulations. 
  • Collaborate with compliance teams to address any regulatory requirements related to AI implementations. 

What You Have

You meet 80% or more of the following requirements: 

  • Degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, etc.). 
  • Over 8 years of hands-on experience in digital transformation projects with combined experience in data delivery and MLOps. 
  • Proven leadership experience in guiding software engineering teams toward successful project/service delivery. 
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills with business knowledge acumen. 
  • In-depth knowledge of AI technologies, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps practices. 
  • Considered an advantage to have proven expertise in dataset curation and training methodologies for AI models. 
  • Familiarity with modern AI frameworks and libraries such as Pytorch as well as experienced Python skills. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
