Oivan designed and implemented a secure, self-hosted collaboration platform based on Nextcloud, built to meet enterprise-grade requirements for security, resilience, and scalability. A 10-week implementation plan was outlined, covering information gathering, system deployment, integration, testing, and handover. Oivan’s experienced team worked in close cooperation with the client to deploy the platform, provide comprehensive documentation, and ensure a smooth transition. The scope included configuring the platform to meet client’s security standards, branding the web interface, and providing instructions for user-led migration from OneDrive. Following the initial deployment, Oivan has continued to provide the client with support and operational services.
The implementation successfully met all of the client’s key objectives, delivering a secure, scalable, and widely adopted collaboration platform.
The solution scaled from an initial 100-user pilot to over 10,000 active users, demonstrating strong adoption and the ability to grow with enterprise demand. By deploying a fully self-hosted platform, the client retained full data sovereignty, ensuring all data remains within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and complies with national data protection and cybersecurity requirements.
