Our expert speaker, Jerry Jalava, Head of DevSecOps at Oivan, spoke about the recent advancements in machine learning AI, especially the rise of the new generative AI tools, presenting new security risks in daily life and business. The statement “cloud transformation requires security transformation” was one the highlights of his speech.
While AI tools offer vast opportunities, they also introduce direct cybersecurity threats and challenges related to data integrity and access. As AI intersects with security, vigilance in safeguarding digital assets remains imperative.

Our booth was well located close to the entrance of the exhibition hall. Our CEO, Rami Korhonen, CCO, Tapio Äijälä, and Head of DevSecOps, Jerry Jalava, met dozens of potential clients, and quite a few of them were positively surprised about the wide range of our digitalization services, well-known client base and the fact having 25th anniversary in Saudi Arabia. After Jerry’s presentation on Thursday, it was clear that Google Cloud’s new cloud region in Saudi Arabia and its advanced services generate significant interest among all industries.
