Oivan and SSH Sponsor and Participate at CYSEC Saudi 2023
This year Oivan in partnership with SSH company has sponsored and participated in CYSEC Saudi 2023 event in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The main theme of the event in its 6th edition was about Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure cybersecurity.
On the second day of the event Oivan Head of Cybersecurity Dr. Bilal Al Sabbagh steered a cybersecurity dialogue with SSH director Mr. Eduardo Giancristofaro about “Unlocking Digital Services with Zero Trust for resilient Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure”.
The dialogue has highlighted the importance of cybersecurity for adopting “industry 4.0” and how access control comes as a priority for end users who want to start their journey to build OT infrastructure cybersecurity program. Considering the current trends on OT cybersecurity attacks and the projected cybersecurity threats like cloud seeded ransomware, bypassing 2-Factor Authentication and compromising VPN networks organizations require to adopt flexible and powerful access control technologies to protect OT and IT infrastructures.
