Saudi-Arabian Business Delegation visit to Oivan’s office
A Saudi-Arabian business delegation led by His Excellency, the Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi, visited Finland to promote links between the Finnish and Saudi business sectors and develop new areas of economic cooperation.
Business delegation members visited our Oivan Office in Helsinki to see our services and solutions. We discussed how Oivan could play a significant role in innovatively adjusting the business to fit Saudi Arabia’s market standards and be a good partner.
With our Nordic values, we created a fantastic atmosphere that has a welcoming effect on all the visitors who walk through the company door. Oivan’s team was present to welcome them properly and provide guidance when needed.
We all agree that first impressions are important since they can set the tone for everything that follows, and that is why as a team, we all worked together to create a positive first impression on our visitors and make them feel comfortable.
The day was well planned. The responsibilities were allocated among the team, printed materials were prepared, and the final check was made the night before the big day. Even though all came on short notice, once we come together and stand by our values, we can only succeed and be the best Oivan.
A presentation about Oivan’s organizational profile was given by our VP of people and operations, Autumn Kelley, and our VP of professional solutions, Timo Hirvonen. Discussion continued about Oivan Nordic values, the EDT model, and our international talent network. Visitors were also interested in Oivan’s investments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the history of Oivan between the past and the future.
Our visitors were given a quick break so they could refill their coffee mugs and have some sweets before heading to the meeting room, where they could meet our partner Silo and discuss possible collaborations. After that, the group went to the room reserved for the VR experience to display the 3D spaces with the High-end Varjo Aero classes from another partner, Varjo. The last part was a presentation about Oivan’s digital solutions and services, which was presented by our head of engineering & member of the board, Aki Teliö.
After all the important meetings and presentations, we had a lunch gathering to network and get closer to our visitors and know them more personally. Following our meetings, we signed Memorandums of Understanding with Leapotech and Sindi, and we look forward to cooperating with them soon.
