SSA Group is a real-estate investor, which develops innovative service concepts.

In 2019 Oivan started to design and develop the digital services of SSA Group’s VALO Hotel Helsinki, which opened its doors in September 2020.

VALO Hotel Helsinki is a groundbreaking hotel concept, that combines co-working, relaxation and accommodation under one roof in an innovative way. The concept was made for the digital era from the get go and Oivan’s designers and developers used the latest open source web technologies to build a human-centric digital service for VALO.

The Solution

Oivan created both the frontend and the custom backend of the VALO Hotels while integrating the system with both industry-standard hotel business ERP system and IoT devices installed in the hotel.
